From a kiosk to a wholesaler
Reda opened a small kiosk in Faisal: cigarettes, soft drinks, biscuits. All he needed was a till that sells fast and a drawer that adds up, so he started on Basic with Sales and Till only. A year later the street knows him and half the building buys from him on credit: he moved to Cashier and switched on Customers and the Credit Book.
Then the grocers of the area started buying cartons from him. Now he needs stock and supplier accounts, then Books for his accountant, then purchase requests because his brother runs the second shop, then a back store. He did not change his system once: the same account, the same products, customers and suppliers, and every new part switched on from one page.

One page, one card per module
Open Settings → Modules (managers; add-ons are the owner's). Every module is one card with:
- The name, a line on what it is for, and what it includes.
- How you get it: “In your plan”, “Included from Business” (or another plan), or an add-on with its monthly price.
- The switch: on or off. Sales and Till has none: it is “always on”, the heart of every shop.
A module is not another product to sign up for. It sees the same products, customers, suppliers, branches and team, and posts to the same books.
The modules and the plans
| Module | What it holds | How you get it |
|---|---|---|
| Sales and Till | Selling, receipts, products, reports | Every plan, always on |
| Customers and Loyalty | Customers, credit, points, stamp card, offers, instalments | From Cashier |
| Jobs and the Credit Book | Job orders, and the credit book with its reminders | From Cashier; needs Customers |
| Stock and Purchasing | Stock, receiving, counts, expiry, suppliers, purchase orders | From Shop |
| AI | Ask your shop, the invoice reader, Connect your AI | From Shop |
| HR and Payroll | Attendance, timesheets, leave, payroll | Attendance from Shop; payroll from Business |
| Books | Invoices, quotes, ledger, profit and loss, balance sheet | From Business |
| Bookings | Appointments, calendar, classes, your booking page | From Business |
| Online Shop, Menus and Screens | Online menu, table QR ordering, online shop, restaurant screens | From Business; menu, table QR and online shop as add-ons from Cashier |
| Connections | Telegram, the accountant's export, e-mail reports; Zoho Books, Xero, QuickBooks Online and Daftra coming soon | Business and Chain |
| Procurement | Purchase requests, approvals, supplier quotes, three-way match | Business and Chain; an add-on for Shop at 300 EGP a month; needs Stock |
| Warehouses | Several stock locations, bins, transfers, picking | Business and Chain; an add-on for Shop at 300 EGP a month; needs Stock |
| Consolidation | One set of figures for several shops or companies | Chain |
| Front Desk (WhatsApp) | Your WhatsApp inbox with an assistant that answers customers | Add-on from Business at 750 EGP a month; coming with the next update |
The prices of the online menu, table QR and online shop add-ons are on the PosMasr Cloud page. Procurement, Warehouses and Consolidation are available now in PosMasr Cloud, each off until the shop switches it on.
Switching on and off
- Off hides, it does not delete. Switch a module off and its pages leave the menus and the quick search (Ctrl+K). Open one of its pages from an old link and you land on the module's card. Switch it on again and everything is where you left it.
- What a module needs comes first. Procurement and Warehouses need Stock; Jobs needs Customers. The card names what must be on first, and Stock cannot be switched off while a module that needs it is on.
- Per branch. The page switches the branch you are in. On Chain, the sweets branch can run Bookings while the kiosk branch keeps them off.
Locked cards and add-ons
A module your plan does not include shows locked: “Included from Business” (or the plan it needs) and an Upgrade button that takes you to Billing → Plan. An add-on shows its monthly price and the plan it starts from.
Add-ons show their monthly price — Procurement (300 EGP), Warehouses (300 EGP), Projects (300 EGP) and Fixed assets (200 EGP, once Books is there) for Shop, the Front Desk (750 EGP) on Business and Chain. The owner presses “Buy the add-on”, which opens Billing → Plan → “Add-on modules” with Buy and Cancel — or writes to us on WhatsApp.
Today and Billing
- Today (the home page) has a “Your modules” row: one chip per module that is on, each opening its first page.
- Billing lists the add-on modules on your account with their monthly price, so the bill never surprises you.
The page is switches and plan rules, not AI: the same plan and the same switches always show the same cards.
What it does not do yet
• No Modules page in the program on your PC. The desktop packages (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) carry their features as before; warehouses, groups, projects and fixed assets are online only, and purchase requests are on your PC from desktop 5.7.0 (Gold).
• No self-service purchase of an unpriced add-on. We switch it on when you ask on WhatsApp.
• The connectors are coming soon. Zoho Books, Xero, QuickBooks Online and Daftra are built and switch on one by one; no dates yet.
• The Front Desk is coming with the next update; its card is there, not the service.
• A plan module is never given beyond the plan. Want Books on Shop? Move to Business.
Which plans include it
| Edition | Settings → Modules |
|---|---|
| PosMasr Cloud | Every plan: Basic, Cashier, Shop, Business and Chain (and the 14-day trial, which has everything of Business). Each module needs the plan in the table above. |
| The program on your PC | No Modules page; each package keeps its features, as listed on Prices |
Every module on one page is on the suite page, and every plan side by side on the PosMasr Cloud page.
Quick answers
If I switch Books off, do I lose my accounts?
No. Its pages are hidden, nothing is deleted. Switch it on and everything is there.
Do I have to install anything for a new module?
No. It is the same app online; the module appears in the menus the moment it is on.
Can a cashier switch modules?
No. Managers switch modules; add-ons are the owner's.
Why can't I switch Procurement on?
It needs Stock on first, and the Business or Chain plan (or the add-on on Shop). The card says what is missing.
Does each branch pay for its modules?
No. One account, one bill; the switches are per branch, the plan and the add-ons are the account's.
