A kiosk, a canteen or a small counter that needs a fast till, a receipt, the catalogue and the day's reports — one person at the till.
Silver: the whole shop
Cashiers with their own accounts, shifts and counting the drawer, credit customers, stock, suppliers, labels and a scale. Most shops pick this one.
Gold: the kitchen and the tables
A café or a restaurant: the kitchen screen, tables and held orders, sizes and add-ons, the service charge, wholesale and retail prices, and a second till linked to the first.
Platinum: your phone and the e-receipt
