A small Egyptian software company that builds one thing well
PosMasr is made by BytesGlue in Cairo. We build software for businesses that want tools that simply work — on their own hardware, with no subscription and nobody able to switch them off.

Why we built PosMasr
Most point-of-sale software sold in Egypt is either a foreign product with a bolted-on Arabic translation and a monthly bill in dollars, or a local one that stops working the day you stop paying. Shops told us the same three things: it has to be simple enough for a new cashier to learn in ten minutes, it has to keep working when the internet goes down, and the owner has to be able to see the numbers from home. PosMasr is our answer to those three sentences, and everything since version 1.0 grew from what real shops asked for next.
How we work
- Your data is yours. The offline edition keeps everything on your PC in plain files you can open with Notepad. We never see it.
- One price, no games. A lifetime license per till, three packages, and the price on the pricing page is the price.
- Support by people who wrote the software. WhatsApp and e-mail, Cairo hours, and you talk to the people who can actually fix it.
- Built in the open with our customers. Every version's changes are listed on the what's new page.
