41.8 Smart reorder and expiry control
Settings → Reorder and expiry: two switches. Expiry control needs lots on (Settings → Features). Both are fixed, explained rules, not AI: every line says why.
- Reorder reads the last 28 days (a day the item was out of stock does not count), the weekday, what is on order, the supplier's delivery days and a safety day, then says: “sells 6 a day, 3 days left, the supplier takes 2 days → order 48 (4 cases)”, within the shelf's
maxand the shelflife. Make the purchase order, then send it by e-mail, by WhatsApp (a prefilled message) or print it. Dead stock is listed too. - Expiry control: every lot within 7, 30, 60 or 90 days, with what will be left over at its expiry. Markdowns (30 % at 7 days, 50 % at 2, by default) apply to that lot only, automatically or after your approval, with labels showing the new
price. An expired lot is not sold: blocked (default), a manager's approval, or a warning. Return it to the supplier or write it off with the reason “expired”.
Plans: Shop and up online, Gold on your PC. No seasons: a Ramadan rush is not foreseen, so look over the quantities. More: Order the right amount, sell before expiry · Expiry dates
