Owner alerts
Choose the appropriate workspace and branch. Your plan, enabled modules and team permissions determine which actions are available.
41.5 Owner alerts and Ask your shop
- Settings → Owner alerts (the owner only; a manager cannot switch them off). Pick the events and their limits: a voided receipt, a return, a big discount (20 % by default), a
pricebelow the list, a held order deleted, an item taken off after it was rung up, the drawer opened without a sale, the drawer over or short (50 by default), a big sale on credit, stock lowered by hand, a sale outside your hours, many voids by one cashier, failed sign-ins, a new device paired, a till offline while you are open. - Where they arrive: the bell and the alerts page always, e-mail, and Telegram (your shop's own bot, from Business). “Smart” sends the serious ones at once and the rest in an hourly digest; quiet hours hold everything until they end. A receipt that syncs late says “happened at 14:05”.
- Needs a look, every day: each cashier's day against their own last 28 days.
- Ask your shop — the box on the Today page, its own page, or Telegram: “how much did we sell today?”, “who owes me?”, “what is running low?”, “receipt 1043”, in Egyptian Arabic, English or Arabizi, with buttons for this week, by cashier, compare. It is fixed, explained rules, not AI: a question it does not know gets examples, never a guessed number. Since 7 October such a question can go to your AI instead, where it is switched on (42.12).
Since 10 October, where the modules are on: Projects alerts (a project past its due date, over budget, approved billable time not invoiced for 30 days, retention due after a project is done) and Fixed assets alerts (a warranty ending within 30 days, a month's depreciation waiting, an asset count open over 7 days); Ask your shop answers “how are my projects” and “what is the book value of our assets”. Know what happens when you're not there: the shop tells you about voids, big discounts, drawer differences and more — in the back office, by e-mail and in Telegram.
Nothing is shown or sent until this is on. Only you, the owner, change these settings; every change is kept in the activity log.
Used for “sale outside opening hours” and “till offline”. Leave them empty if you don't want these two.
Nothing is sent in these hours; what happened comes in the digest after them.
Each person links their own Telegram from the Ask page; the answers follow their rights in the back office.
Sales against the week before, the best day, the top sellers, cash and card, low and slow stock, the team's hours and the bookings when those are on, and one thing to do. Written by your AI from the shop's own reports when it is set up (one of the day's free questions), else from the numbers alone. Sent on the channels above and kept on the owner alerts page.
