5Printer & receipt
Plug it in, then open Settings → Devices
Connect and power the printer before installing; leave Set up connected devices checked. Automatic setup currently covers Epson TM-T20/T20II/T20III, Citizen CT-S310II, Bixolon SRP-350plus, and verified Xprinter, Rongta and POS58/POS80 USB variants. USB versions differ; real shop hardware validation is still required. Connecting a supported printer later may ask for one administrator approval. Use Test for a receipt and drawer pulse; connect the drawer to the printer's drawer socket.
The CH340/CH341 driver is included. Assign the COM port to a scale, pole display or drawer, then set baud and protocol in that device's tab. For an unknown device, check power and cable, then Refresh. A missing serial driver shows the chip name and vendor link; send support the model and hardware IDs. For a LAN printer, select the shop network and click Find printers. The scan runs only when requested.
In Devices, choose a category and model for connection guidance. The catalogue includes ZKTeco, Xprinter and Rongta printers; Zebra, Honeywell, Datalogic and Syble readers; and ZKTeco, Star, APG and Posiflex drawers. A listing does not mean the model is connected or hardware-tested. Keyboard-mode readers work even without a catalogue entry: use Barcode input test with an Enter suffix, without making a sale or saving input. A printer-connected drawer has no separate USB identity; match its cable, voltage and pinout. Dedicated USB and serial drawer variants use different commands and are not all supported.
